So often the Foundation receives letters or emails of thanks, expressing gratitude to a nurse who went that extra mile. All of us can be extremely thankful for our nurses whose core values date back to the very early beginnings… when the St. Mary’s School of Nursing was built by nuns who pioneered the standard of “whole patient-care”. We are proud of the solid reputation that the nurses of St. Mary’s have upheld through time. In celebration of St. Mary’s School of Nursing, bursaries of $500 each will be awarded one per day during International Nurses Week (May 6 – 10), as our way of showing our heartfelt thanks…
