Girls for the Cure 2020

St. Mary’s Girls for the Cure is Unstoppable!

Since the first steps taken in 1994…
Over 45,000 students have walked to find a cure…
Over 412 million steps walked…
Over $3 million raised…

While the world may look different today, and many important fundraising events have been put on pause, the 26th edition of St. Mary’s Girls for the Cure will persevere – ça va bien aller ! Support this unstoppable movement on Thursday September 24th as 1,500 girls come together in a colour-filled walk with the common purpose to fight women-related cancers.

St. Mary’s Girls for the Cure will unite girls from Miss Edgar’s and Miss Cramp’s School (ECS), Lower Canada College (LCC), Sacred Heart School of Montréal, The Study and Trafalgar School for Girls to raise money for cancer treatments and services at St. Mary’s Hospital Centre.

The students work hard to collect online donations from family and friends to support them as they participate in their walk. Respecting social distancing, students will be walking around their own school campuses, in a true display of strength. We will virtually unify the schools through the internet for an empowering celebration, knowing their efforts will directly impact awareness, research, treatment and survival rates for women fighting cancer.

Since the first steps in 1994, tens of thousands of girls from Montréal secondary schools have taken part in Girls for the Cure. With over $3 million dollars raised, and with each step taken, hope grows in each and every one of us.

We are Girls for the Cure – dedicated, courageous & spirited.
Support us in our journey!
